Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre Kigali

I had a really good experience, but the aftermath of it somehow put me aback on how they handle left item's in the rooms. I left my leather jacket in the room. I noticed this immediately I landed in my country. I had two friends stating at the hotel traveling 2 days later after me. I emailed the hotel. No response. My friends got me another direct email where I instructed them on what to do after they had even acknowledged to my friends they got the jacket. No response to that email 2days later after they left. My friends asked them for it. They refused to issue it out because of the inconsistency of communication and having different reception staff. I am very disappointed and I just need my jacket home.

First I like the staff, very much client oriented, accommodating requests with kindness. Then I liked the piano playing in the lobby, morning and evening and the amazing Christmas atmosphere, great decorations throughout the facility, the breakfast was great amazing staff again. Big room nicely decorated and properly cleaned daily. Good choice of restaurants and bars available.

Breakfast was delicious, suiting anybody’s preferences. There was a pianist in the lobby and before going to meetings you could enjoy live music.

The staff are very friendly and went above and beyond to assist during my stay, the room was spacious, and the location was good (at the heart of Kigali). Only had one issue which was the room ironing machine was leaking water and the replacement had the same issue. Also bathroom only included basics (shampoo, body wash). Wish they include others like tooth brush and tooth paste.
